Frequently Asked Questions
Q: They make regular visits but what happens if I get sick between visits?
A: As soon as you contact our staff with a problem, we will get back to you in a very short time. If we can't handle the problem over the phone we will arrange for a visit as soon as possible to see you.
Q: What if I need to have home health come to the house for visits and nursing?
A: Dr. Dratler coordinates with all of the major and minor Home health agencies and has a great relationship with all of them and can arrange for help from any one of them.
Q: What if I need the care of a Specialist?
A: Our providers are general practitioners and will refer and arrange for an appointment with a specialist in your area and then coordinate with the specialist for your care.
Q: Will I be given an actual appointment with the provider?
A: On the day before your scheduled appointment, you will receive a call with a window for when the provider will arrive. You understand that in the case of a medical emergency, your appointment may be delayed. But we will call with any changes to the window.
Q: What happens if I have to go to the hospital?
A: We will do everything that we can to prevent you from needing to go to the hospital. But in the rare case where you must go to the hospital, you will be taken care of by the professional hospitalists in the facility that will coordinate with our staff. We will get all of your hospital records and see you shortly after you get home.
